It's almost Valentine's day, which is easily my most favorite holiday. In celebration, I made some paper heart garland today!
Paper Heart Garland Tutorial
1. Cut out hearts of all shapes and sizes. For added effect, I used pages from an old Urban Sociology book.
Note: be sure to cut two hearts at the same time by putting two pieces of paper together. Crease the paper and cut a half-heart shape, so that there will be two identical and symmetrical hearts.
2. Take a set of two identical hearts. Turn on over so that the center creases will be pushing against one another. Sew a straight line along the center creases.
3. Continue feeding through pairs of hearts in the same manner.
4. End at whatever length you desire. Re-crease the hearts to add dimension to the garland.
5. Hang up and enjoy!
How are you decorating for Valentine's Day?
